Kodansha publishing new English editions of Sailor Moon and Codename wa Sailor V

September 9, 2011 - Kodansha Comics USA is publishing new English language editions of Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon and its prequel Codename wa Sailor V starting September 13, 2011. The new editions, which feature new cover art, retouched interior art and dialogue along with extensive bonus material from Naoko Takeuchi, are based on the Japanese new cover editions published in 2003.

Kodansha Comics USA states that this new edition of Sailor Moon "will be completely true to original" and both series will feature:

• An entirely new, incredibly accurate translation!
• Japanese-style, right-to-left reading!
• New cover art never before seen in the U.S.!
• The original Japanese character names!
• Detailed translation notes!
