Prologue
A sudden dilemma! Who could this pretty soldier appearing out of the blue be? Luna?! Luna’s a cat, dummy, a cat! Eh? Artemis?! Artemis is a cat too, God! The correct answer is me! Minako Aino! The sailor-suited soldier of love and beauty, Sailor Venus!
In England I was known for my efforts as Sailor V! But England was also the setting for a tragic tale of love lost; I don’t really want to remember it.
I have my pride as a young lady after all! Hey, you’ve got some nerve! Don’t call me a faded beauty! Huh? I’m misunderstanding something? Well, whatever.
My partner Artemis is a little obnoxious, but super reliable! I’ve been a soldier longer than anyone else, so I’ve got to give my support! (Giggles)
Poem
Beyond the pine forest was an ocean. A beautiful scene was made out on the wave-breakers. A couple sat side by side. Golden tears flowing down their faces. They said not a word, just stared at the sea. Not a word was said. Even so, gentle feelings passed between them. A low voice, a cold setting sun, honest eyes, your back as you tied your shoes, I loved all of it. It hurts to love someone from the bottom of your heart. It’s wonderful to love someone from the bottom of your heart. I don’t have a single thing left that you gave me anywhere. Just my own keepsakes. The loneliness that comes from loving someone from the bottom of your heart, the kindness that comes from loving someone from the bottom of your heart, the thing I received from you, like the tide, filling my future, my dreams, with water. Last year in the same place, where the sunflowers blossomed, Venus, which never waits for nightfall, drifted into the far off sky. What sort of me exists in your heart? Am I angry? Or am I laughing? The loneliness that comes from loving someone from the bottom of your heart, the kindness that comes from loving someone from the bottom of your heart, you remember me from time to time too, and feel lonely about it. You remember me from time to time too, and have warm feelings.
