This second North American album was released following the domestic release of Sailor Moon R and features insert songs from the second season, new songs later used in the English dub of the movies, the original Japanese anime, a remake of The Beatle's 'I Want to Hold Your Hand', and a few songs not included in the show. Two of these songs were re-released in higher quality on Sailor Moon: Full Moon Collection.

There are two versions of this album, one being the original release in Canada and then the later U.S. release by Kid Rhino. A few of the songs are arranged differently between the two versions, including "I Want to Hold Your Hand" and "I Want Someone to Love" (listed as "Raw Re-Mix" on the Kid Rhino version).
