Anime Background Music (Japanese)
Soundtracks were released for every series plus an "Extra Version Music Collection" containing previously unreleased music from the first four series. The first series soundtrack features music that was used in the following seasons (except for Sailor Stars which had new music). Unreleased Background Music
Some musical cues are NOT available on any Sailor Moon CDs. For example: Haruka and Michiru holdings hands in the windowsill, or Usagi crying in the phonebooth. These pieces are noted as "Studio Library" in the Memorial Music Box booklet. Studio Library pieces (SLP) were written somewhere else, not originally composed for the series, and Toei did not have the rights to distribute the music on the Sailor Moon soundtracks. Frequently these SLP are classical music pieces. See the Unreleased Musical Cues for episode rips of studio library (provided by fans) and some of the original classical compositions. If it's not on that page, I can't get it for you because I don't know the name of the original piece. Neither can I identify classical music pieces that were used in the series. I can't tell you the name of the music if you send me a YouTube link either. You can either download all the music from that season, or search through the Memorial Music Box booklet.
